Our Projects in Honduras
Children’s Outreaches
We have dynamic children’s and youth programs and outreaches in numerous villages in rural Honduras!
At each location the children participate in a fun and exciting Bible-based program, receiving a prepared meal, and receiving practical assistance in a variety of other ways. In our main village the children receive mentoring, practical skills instruction, and assistance with school costs.
Program for At-Risk Girls
Each week we have outreach programs for at-risk girls and young ladies. The girls in this program are typically from unstable home environments, often having to care for younger siblings while their single mom is away working. Others may have learning disabilities or physical handicaps. In this program they experience unconditional love, learn practical skills such as how to cook, or how to run a microbusiness, or learn how to draw or other fun activities. They receive a nutritious meal, play games, sing, pray, and learn Bible stories and life applications. They also receive consistent and loving mentorship from our female leaders.
Public School Evangelistic Outreaches
We conduct dynamic evangelistic outreaches to public schools almost every week of the year. In the course of a year, we typically reach thousands of children in Honduras. Our amazing team of leaders and junior leaders provide a fun and dynamic program that lasts around an hour and makes a great impact on the children as well as their teachers. There are songs, games, refreshments, a clear Gospel presentation, and then each child receive a gift bag filled with school supplies, candy, and a Gospel booklet.
Feeding Programs
Children at each of our rural village outreaches receive a nutritious meal. Other children (based on need) receive a food pack filled with a variety of healthy food and fresh produce for both them and their families.
Mission Teams
Periodically, we host mission teams in Honduras. Teams typically have around eight or more people come for around seven days to assist with our children’s programs and various outreaches. Contact us for more information and details!
Educational Assistance to children and local public schools
We are very involved in assisting public schools, and the children we work with in their education. As a ministry we provide all uniforms, backpacks, school supplies and transportation for over 30 children. We also are very involved and connected with local public schools and regularly provide various types of aid and assistance.
Programs for Boys
We have a weekly program for boys and young men. They receive practical Bible teaching, games, activities, food, and mentoring. They also receive assistance to continue their schooling such as providing backpacks, uniforms, and school supplies. Boys also get to participate in periodic outings such as going to the pool, or sporting events.
